Pick Up Game Dismissal Procedures: Parents/Guardians should notify their child’s homeroom teacher if they are attending the game instead of going to their regular dismissal location, and students should bring their dismissal cards with them to the Gym on the day of their Pick Up Game. Students can be picked up in front of the school at 4:15.
Remembering Our Fallen is a photographic war memorial that honors our country’s military Fallen from The War on Terror (9/11/2001 – Present). Unlike brick and mortar memorials, Remembering Our Fallen is designed to travel and includes both military and personal photos. Its legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered and their names will be spoken, while helping to lessen the grief of their families.
Patton Elementary will host the Remembering Our Fallen Memorial from October 29th through November 7th. The display will be housed in the main lobby. Our Veteran’s day Assembly will be on November 1st at 8:00 am.
Reminder! Tomorrow, Friday, October 26, at 8:30 am we will be celebrating Literacy Day at Patton Elementary! We encourage all students, teachers and staff are encouraged to participate in the festivities by dressing up as a character from a grade appropriate book. We look forward to seeing everyone’s creative costumes!
We will have parent viewing areas during the event to keep congestion down in the hallways. If you would like to watch the parade, please find the large posted signs that will indicate a parent viewing area. We will also have a photo booth set up in the library to take a quick picture with your child before school or after the parade.
Thank you for your support in making Literacy Day a fun and memorable event.
